Brass Test Clamp Material :

  • Brass, Electroless Nickel Plated Brass, Copper, Aluminium

Function :

  • Allow the conductor to be disconnected from the earthing point so that the earth resistance may be measured.

Features :

  • Low resistance connection between overlapping tapes.
  • The base has a countersunk hole in the middle for fixing the clamp in place.
  • The heavy duty lid simply screws on and off the threaded base.
  • For forming straight through cross or tee joints in cable.

  • BS 6121: Part-1:2005, EN 50262:1999, IEC62444:2010

Operating Temperature :

  • -60°C to +75°C

IP Rating :

  • IP 66, IP 67 and IP 68

Application :

  • Designed to join conductor tape to facilitate in the annual testing of the lightning protection system.
  • Designed to allow the conductor to be overlapped and secured using bolts.
  • Used for testing and earthing.
  • Used for forming end to end joints and connections.
  • Designed for four-way connection and are suitable for crossing over tapes, straight through joints or T connection to form a continuous network of tapes.
  • Provide a safe and fast method to attach the high current injection terminals to overhead wires and busbars.
  • Used to join copper tapes where frequent inspection and testing is necessary of Earthing and Lightning Protection System.
