DIN 7985 Flat Pan Head machine screws are externally threaded fasteners designed to be mated with threaded nuts or tapped holes in the parts they are designed to hold together. The pan head is cylindrical head with a slightly rounded top surface and a flat bearing surface underneath. This head style is ideal for most applications where a protruding head is acceptable.
