Brass Screw threads are designed to mate with a complementary thread known as female thread (internal thread) often in the form of a nut or an object which has the internal thread form into it. Brass Screws Application:

  • Brass Screws are externally threaded fasteners that are prevented from being turned during assembly, but are positioned or released by torqueing a nut.
  • Screws can be inserted into pre-tapped holes or that can perforate a material and create its own internal thread.
  • Screws are fastened by torque applied to the head.
  • Brass Screws contain a shaped head or shaped recess so a screw driver can provide torque in the direction of the threads.
